It's a new project started. The idea is old: The really true guitarplaying is if somebody pickup his guitar and just play... There is no looper, or notebook in a background. Only the performer and his instrument. This is "magic" by the way challenge. To make "everything" on guitar alone. There are some guy.. Tommy Emmanuel, Sylvian Luc, Joe Pass, Tuck Andress just a couple from the top. For this project needed 100%. So it's impossibile to make in a freetime. I takes lot of time. But I do it. This is the best period to make this. Lot of work.... Anyway here is the first, Michael jackson Billie Jean. Please if you like it, share it and send to friends. My plan to go all around the world with this project. thanks Miki

Miki Birta jazz-fusion guitarist, bassist, composer, arranger, guitar and jazz music theory teacher at the Kodolányi János University College.
Date and place of birth: March 16, 1970, Budapest, Hungary. He started learning to play the guitar when he was a child, at the age of 10. In 1996 he graduated from the Jazz Guitar Department of the Budapest College of Music. His teacher was Gyula Babos.
At first he was influenced by rock music, especially by the lead guitarist of AC/DC: Angus Young.
During the course of his studies he started to listen to other kinds of music as well: Al di Meola, John McLaughlin, and Paco DeLucia’s album from 1981, “Friday Night in San Francisco” had a profound impact on him – as it also had on other guitar players.
He heard about Allan Holdsworth and Scott Henderson for the first time at the age of 17, and this defined his studies and his later style for a long time. But not only guitar albums had an impact on him: one of the first saxophone jazz albums that he valued very much was Branford Marsalis’ Royal Garden Blues.
1987 His changed the tune on his instuments: E6, A5, D4, G3, C2, F1.
In 1992 he became christian in a Reform church, this changes his thinking basicly about the music and the world as well.
1998 His first album came out in'98 (Next Generation), which is a trio album. It is probably closest to Wayne Krantz’ music (see samples under the mp3 section).
1999 They record their first Hungarian funky evangelistic album ( Creed ) in English. Recordings in Hungary have successfully been finished; unfortunately, however, this is where it stands right now. The project is still waiting to be fully finished (see samples under the mp3 section).
2004 His second album came out in 2004 with the title “Hey Kids!” This time it’s a quartet project. Here he also uses acoustic instruments (see samples under the mp3 section).
His third album came out in 2009 with the title “Friends” This is also quartet album but this time with saxophone or ewi, drums, and bass the instruments. On this album he play guitar acoustic guitar and bass to for 5 songs.
Outside of his home country he has had a number of performances and tours in New York , Florida, Germany, Poland, England, Latvia, Slovakia, Romania, Austria, Ukraina and Italy.
Athome (and in Poland too) he performed in Pál Vasvári's project with Mike Stern, Dave Samuels, Paco Sery, Bernard Maseli
Jorge Bazerra, Henrik Gembalski, Hose Torres,
In the R'n'B Bop Trio with Jeff Andrews, Krzysztof Zawadzki
In Péter Szendőfi's project with Gary Willis.
In Péter Kaszás's Nalanda project with Mike Mainieri,
In Poland in Krzysztof Zawadzki's project (Walkaway Band ZARIBA 2004-2005)(with his own compositions as well) and on gig's, with Bill Evans, Eric Marienthel, Steve Logan, Bernard Maseli.
Others hungarian projects with Pál Vasvári, Béla "Szakcsi" Lakatos, Tony Lakatos,.
In 2008 in Roland Szentpáli's project with James Morrison
His work is characterized by versatility. Out of his project, Pop music tours and recordings, contemporary performances with classical orchestras (including his own compositions), movie soundtrack recordings, underground bands, numerous TV- and radio performances, jazz bands at clubs and festivals (acoustic jazz, django jazz, mainstream, fusion, funk, R’n’B, etc.)theater performances,
He loves travelling to different parts of the world, loves challenges and new music situations, getting to know new styles of music and musicians.
He has been teaching at music schools and private since 1992. During this time he makes his own guitar school( 4 books ), “Style Practices”, which is an improvisation school with a bonus CD, guitar chords and chord line book, scoreread practising book, and music improvisation and theory for all instruments book.
He taught 120 students in Saulkrasti, Latvia in 2004 at an international jazz camp alongside 11 other teachers who come from 9 different countries.
As well as actively playing music, he is also a teacher of guitar, jazz theory, at a Kodolányi János University Collage in Hungary.
